Our employees are the face of our company, which is why we are lucky to have many talented individuals that excel at making us better on a daily basis. Client Services Account Manager Terry Brereton is no exception to this, as she does everything in her power to help our clients with anything they need. Here are a few things you should know about her.
Q: How long have you been with Fireproof?
T: I’ve been with the company for two years.
Q: What is your favorite part about your job at Fireproof?
T: Closing a deal. I’m competitive and love the challenge of making a sale. It’s not about what you’re selling, it’s about the way you’re selling it. You have to work hard to reach your goals.
Q: What is one thing everyone should know about Fireproof?
T: People should know that customers are always our #1 priority. Customer service is everything in this industry but there aren’t many other companies that will go above and beyond for their clients like we do.
Q: What was an unexpected fact you learned about Fireproof after being hired?
T: All the procedures and processes implemented in everything we do. Before I started working at Fireproof, I wondered how hard it would really be to store a box. To my surprise, there are quite a few processes in place to properly store and track the two million boxes in our warehouse. But that’s just one aspect of it; I’m still learning something new every day.
Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?
T: Boating; I live on a lake so I take my boat out a lot. Besides that, I love spending time with my seven-year-old granddaughter.
Q: Is there a skill you’d like to master?
T: I wish I could play a musical instrument. Watching musicians amazes me because most of them are able to play multiple instruments. I love music; perhaps one day I will learn how to play either the piano or guitar.
Q: What is your favorite sport?
T: It depends on the season! I love watching football, basketball and baseball.
Q: What is something most people don’t know about you?
T: A lot of people don’t know that I water ski.
Q: Where did you go to school?
T: I went to IUPUI – Indiana University and majored in Business Administration.
Q: Do you have any pets?
T: No, because I’m not home enough. However, I have been feeding four cats that I found in my neighbor’s pontoon boat.
Q: Do you have a favorite book?
T: I haven’t read a new book in a while. However, I love books by John Grisham, Nora Roberts and James Patterson.
Q: If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
T: I would like to go to Australia; it has always intrigued me.
