Paul Fields recalls the day he was interviewed at Fireproof. The list of Decade Plus Members displayed in the office with over 40 employees’ names on it truly impressed him. “If that many people have worked here for 10 or more years, then it must be a great place to be.” Between the dedication of many longtime employees and the opportunity to educate others about the importance of technology, it was clear to Paul that Fireproof was the right choice for his future. Position: Systems Administrator/IT
What motivates you to work hard?
My parents instilled a ridiculous work ethic in me.
What are some things that interest you?
Anything pertaining to computers. I am a computer nerd!
What is one skill you would like to master?
I truly believe we never master anything. Instead of focusing so much on mastering things, I constantly strive to do better at all of the things I do.
What is something you know you do differently than most people?
I put yellow mustard on vanilla ice cream.
What is one thing you cannot live without?
If I ever stopped learning new things, I think I would be miserable in a hurry. I am in the process of developing a free coding class that would be offered at public libraries for children who are interested in learning computer coding.
What is your favorite part about your job?
Educating employees. It is an opportunity to help people and teach them about technology.
What is the most important thing that people should know about Fireproof?
Fireproof has a dedicated staff who genuinely cares about Fireproof and its success.
